Maple graduated from Jilin University in China with a bachelor’s degree in law in 2013, she moved to Canberra soon and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from ANU. During her three years of studies at ANU Law School, she dedicated her time to achieving Distinctions for her research papers in human rights law, administrative law, and evidence law. Her Capstone Project was also awarded a Distinction from the supervising professor. Upon her graduation, she completed her Practical Legal Training at an accredited immigration specialist law firm in Sydney. Before joining Scientia Lawyers in 2021, she worked at the Sydney office of a global law firm.

Maple specialises in complex cases such as AAT merits review cases, judicial review cases and ministerial intervention cases, helping people in visa refusals, visa cancellations or those who do not hold substantive visas. She also has a passion in permanent visa applications and other temporary visa applications. She dedicated to delivering a high standard of legal support to the clients as she is approachable 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Apart from her work life, she enjoys reading, bushwalking, snorkelling, and travelling. She is also a licenced alcohol server in NSW and a Chinese Securities Practitioner.
